IAG Airport first began in 1928 when it opened as a municipal airport. IAG opened with four runways featuring a crushed-stone surface. Allegiant Air and Spirit Airlines provide scheduled services with destinations to Orlando/Sanford, Savannah, St. Petersburg, and Fort Lauderdale. As of 2017, the airport had 29,816 operations and 282,000 passengers. Residents from Pelham, Niagara Falls, Youngstown and nearby towns and cities use the IAG to avail of air travel services.
